GICA is hosting an online training created exclusively for Compliance Collaborative members. If you are unsure whether you represent a Compliance Collaborative member school, please contact Judy Spain. If there are other folks on your campus that would be interested in attending this online training, please forward this information on to them.
Join your colleagues for an in-depth training designed to provide Title IX Coordinators, Deputy Coordinators, Investigators, Hearing Panel Members, Advisors, Appeal Officers, HR personnel, and anyone associated with administering Title IX with an up-to-date understanding of current compliance requirements.

1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Investigation Process (Case Scenario)
- Review the ANSI/ASIS Investigative Standards
- Using newly developed Title IX-specific videos, use case method to walk through a Title IX matter.
- Registration is limited to 20 per session
- If you cannot attend after registering, please contact Juliet Jatcko who can de-register you so that someone else can attend
- Please come prepared to share your webcam and participate in discussions
Presenter/Facilitator: Judy Spain, J.D., CCEP
Judy currently serves as the GICA Compliance Program Consultant. She is a tenured Professor, an attorney licensed in Kentucky, Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania and is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. She served as General Counsel and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Eastern Kentucky University and Manhattanville College, where she developed and implemented compliance programs. Judy is the author of the first book on higher education compliance, “Higher Education Compliance: Blueprint for Success”. Her second book, Compliance Risk Assessment: An Introduction, was recently published by the Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics.
